The Slovak Biodiversity Platform is an important player with many involved important organisations. The ILTER approach is also well settled in the Slovak Republic.
The Centre of Excellence for Protection and Utilization of Landscape and Biodiversity is established at the Institute of Landscape Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Science in Bratislava.
