The EULAC ENERGYTRAN project aims to strengthen cooperation between the European Union and Latin American and Caribbean research infrastructures to facilitate a clean, sustainable, and just energy transition. This involves exchanging, generating, and transferring multidisciplinary knowledge – such as technological, environmental, and social – while supporting the development of public policies and regulatory frameworks towards climate neutrality. The consortium is composed of key partners from the field of energy transition representing EU and LAC countries.
LifeWatch ERIC contributes to the EULAC ENERGYTRAN project by providing advanced ICT tools and e-Science facilities. Within this project, LifeWatch ERIC aids in creating a network of interconnected and sustainable collaborators’ research infrastructures. LifeWatch ERIC helps to ensure that the project achieves its objectives of promoting a clean, sustainable, and socially just energy transition by facilitating access to data, research tools, and collaborative platforms, promoting and enhancing scientific cooperation between EU and LAC infrastructures.
