Rome, Italy
The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) connects governments, academia, organisations, civil society and the private sector to tackle global challenges through innovative solutions that harness the power of Earth Intelligence.
The network fosters collaboration and equity, making data and services accessible to enhance sustainable development and environmental management in an era of exponential data growth and planetary-scale crises.
On 5 May 2025, LifeWatch ERIC will join “The Earth Talks”, the inaugural GEO Global Forum 2025: a premier global event aiming at inspiring society to harness Earth Intelligence for informed and ambitious actions. The event tackles key topics for the Sustainable Development Goals, such as food security, ecosystems restoration, disasters prevention, and the triple planetary crisis.
Our research infrastructure will be represented by Christos Arvanitidis, CEO, in the Community Event Session 7: ArcticGEOSS and GEO Mountains – Cool Collaborations, that has the objective to exchange on progress in cold-related sciences and discuss potential collaboration paths.
