EMBRC-ERIC: The European Marine Biological Resource Centre is an ERIC focused on marine biology and ecology, a driver for the development of blue biotechnologies, supporting sustainability research in food, health and environment. LifeWatch Belgium and LifeWatchGreece support the e-infrastructure working group. Funded by EMBRC-ERIC member states.

SYNTHESYS+, synthesis of sistematic resources, brings together the European branches of the global natural science organisations (GBIF, TDWG, GGBN and CETAF) with an unprecedented number of collections, to integrate, innovate and internationalise our efforts. LifeWatchGreece is involved in WP7. Funding: EC, H2020

MOBILISE – Mobilising Data, Policies and Experts in Scientific Collections – facilitates transfer of knowledge and technology; promotes development of innovative techniques for large scale collection digitisation and mobilisation; raises awareness about needs in science and society. LifeWatchGreece is involved in the communication activity.

MOUNT: MOdern UNifying Trends in marine biology. The project focuses on three levels of biological organisation: Model species populations for the understanding of the adaptations to climate change; Experimental manipulations of ocean acidification on individuals; Macro-systems. The project supports innovative research activities of IMBBC in the fields of 1) environmental and population genomics, 2) aquaculture and 3) platforms for the production, analysis, storage and dissemination of scientific data. LifeWatchGreece is involved in data management.
