On 2 April 2025, Alberto Basset (Service Centre Director) will present LifeWatch ERIC services at one of the National Monitoring Centre for Biodiversity Lecture series.
As the European Research Infrastructure, providing eScience research services for biodiversity and ecosystems, one of LifeWatch’s aims is to create virtual ‘workbenches’ with electronic services that enable users to build future change scenarios with biodiversity data. In this process, user activities are also supported by access to electronic services for training, communication, networking and capacity building. In this online lecture, . and their provision and organisation in more detail, such as the coordination of the shared facilities and the work of the national decentralised centres responsible for collecting and storing data in their data portals. The main challenges and already defined plans for future developments will also be presented and discussed.
The talk will last for one hour, from 11 to 12 a.m.
